Paid fairly by a nonprofit/non-governmental organization the women makers are provided with childcare, schooling, medical care, financial management training and business tools to grow their earning potentials. By making these baskets they support their families and the communities they live in. This collective is the gold standard for fair trade in handmade basketry.
