Clad all the way up the sides, not just across the bottom.
Eight quarts with a wide base and tall sides, which is the shape you want for a big batch of stock, a pot of soup, or sauce you intend to simmer down all afternoon. Most stainless pots are a slab of conductive metal on the bottom and thin steel above it, so the sides run cool and the bottom scorches. This one is fully clad, meaning the layered construction wraps the entire body, and heat climbs the walls as evenly as it crosses the base. The lip is rounded to pour without dripping, and the lid is included.
The build is five-ply: a three-layer aluminum core sandwiched between stainless steel, with a magnetic outer layer so it works on induction along with every other stovetop. No coatings of any kind, which means no PFAS, no ceramic sol-gel, no nanoparticles, no lead or cadmium. Just steel and aluminum. It’s oven and broiler safe to 800°F, made at a factory in Clarksville, Tennessee, and backed by a lifetime warranty.

Why We Chose It
We chose this because fully clad is the difference between a pot you use and a pot you fight. Scorched sauce on the bottom of a stockpot is almost always the pan’s fault, and this construction fixes it by putting the same metal everywhere the food touches. Add no coatings to wear off and a lifetime warranty behind it, and it’s the last 8-quart pot you need to buy.
