Why a pizza cutter that is a rocker blade versus a pizza wheel?

The size and shape of the Pizza Rocker/Cutter ensures that your cuts will be straight and complete, and even the thickest, crustiest crust will yield quickly without shredding. One of its main functions is to cut through vertically from the top in a downward fashion, as opposed to using a rolling Pizza Wheel which can cause toppings to be pushed or dragged off the pizza. The Pizza Rocker can also be used as a lifter.

Made from a proprietary Hi-Carbon American Steel, this full-tang vintage blade is cut, ground, polished and sharpened in a Massachusetts facility. Handles of exotic imported hardwoods are assembled to the blades with brass rivets and then the knives are meticulously finished and sharpened.

With brass rivets complementing rich walnut handles, this Vintage-style inspired knife pairs a timeless look and feel with a new ergonomic design. The sleek, tapered handle facilitate both a traditional and pinch grip. Made by one of our favorite American Heritage brands that have been making quality kitchen knives in the US since 1877.
