Pair of Hand-dipped Beeswax Tapers - juniper blue
Hand-Dipped Beeswax Tapers - Juniper
There is something grounding about lighting a candle. The small ritual invites us to slow down, to gather at the dinner table, draw a bath, or soften the light beside the bed at the end of the day.
These hand-dipped tapers are made from 100% pure Montana beeswax and finished with a subtle juniper botanical wax. Naturally aromatic from the honey and wildflower nectar found within the honeycomb, beeswax carries a gentle sweetness and produces a warm, steady flame that feels at home in any room.
Each candle is made by hand in Missoula, Montana by local candlemaker Bethany using beeswax sourced from Montana apiaries, supporting the beekeepers who steward the landscapes around us.
Why Beeswax?
Beeswax has long been valued for its clean, beautiful burn.
- Produces one of the brightest, warmest flames of any candle
- Burns cleanly with little smoke when cared for properly
-
Supports local apiaries and sustainable beekeeping
- Naturally emits negative ions, which are believed to help purify the air
- Naturally non-drip when kept away from drafts and burned upright
Care & Burning Instructions
- Trim wick to ¼ inch before each lighting
- Allow the candle to burn long enough for the entire top to melt evenly before extinguishing
- Always burn in a proper candle holder and away from drafts
Removing Wax from Candle Holders
To remove remaining wax, pick off any large wax chunks then place the holder inside down in an oven at 200 degrees on a parchment lined cookie sheet. Leave in oven for 15-20 mins until wax turns to a liquid. Immediately remove and wipe the candle holder with a paper towel to remove wax.
