A Note on Handmade Glass

Because each piece is blown by hand, dimensions and weight vary slightly from glass to glass, and small bubbles or ripples are part of the process rather than flaws. We value that unevenness. It is the evidence of a person doing the work.

Why We Chose It

We deeply admire the craft of hand-blowing glass, and what we wanted was glassware that could keep up with our slightly clumsy selves in the kitchen and at the table. This collection does exactly that. It carries the mark of the artist's hand without asking to be handled carefully, which is a rare combination.
