We love this Hinoki ridged soap rest. We use it for the dishwashing bar in our kitchen and for the Turkish soaps from Three Bales in our bathroom. The ridges effectively drain water and make it easy to pick up the soap from the rest to use it in the bath. We also appreciate that these have not developed any mold. We've had two wooden soap rests from other brands/other materials that eventually molded and we have not had that issue with either of these Hinoki soap rests. It also fits our minimalist Japandi design aesthetic perfectly too!
