From carrying laundry, to the fall apple picking season, to corralling all the little one’s toys from the floor. These baskets can help organize, transport and store the lived-in messiness of our lives. Paid fairly by a nonprofit/non-governmental organization the women makers are provided with childcare, schooling, medical care, financial management training and business tools to grow their earning potentials. By making these baskets they support their families and the communities they live in. This collective is the gold standard for fair trade in handmade basketry.
