hand carved by a local Montana maker
Wooden spoons have been long crafted by hand, by small makers. They tell a story about the homes they reside in. Their patina from stirring the bright yellow curries or deep red stew pots of homemade chili. You can never go wrong with purchasing a wooden spoon. It's a kitchen essential and we think its best to support local makers that pour their hearts and skills into pieces like these.
About the Maker:
Ox Yoke C Designs
As a local Missoula woodworker, Cade carefully and meticulously learned his way around his father’s wood shop growing up. Instilling a love for locally sourced lumber, Cade finds deep value in a circular economy. These charcuterie boards and the collection of spoons are carved from maple and walnut trees sourced in the Bitterroot and Missoula valley. When we support local food, local makers, and use local materials we begin to build a stronger community. We swoon over the craftspersonship he brings to each of his pieces and are happy to have them as a part of Three Bales’ story.
